I am not Randy but this looks like Smoketree. You should see the burl of it called chittam/chittum.

It's a roller ball. My wife has these bushes that she calls smokebush don't know what the proper name is . There were some dead branches that I trimmed off and notice the color and grain pattern ,yellow with gray rings so I save the branches to make some pens
