Slimline pencil with shredded money blank

This one was interesting. I intentionally skipped reverse paint to get the play between the brass and gold. At some point a while back, someone else messed up on a kit and tried to fix it by putting new tubes in the bag, which were pen tubes. I didn't find out until I had already finished and assembled. These things are a pain to take apart. I milled the top barrel down as far as needed and re-did it. Other than that, it was a good turn, and the new owner will be really happy.

Whew! I was kinda worried I was the only one that thought the bare brass would look right.

No polishing. Just glued 'em in there. They're usually pretty shiny right out of the bag.
