Slimline Pen & Pencil

This was some lightly spalted maple I found,then cut and dried in the basement.The center bands are Redheart. My mother wanted them to give to a cousin of hers. My question is, would they look better with black chrome, gun metal or the standard gold?

Those are really nice! But I think it might look better with the black because of the black in the center band, at least it looks like black around the CB?

I burned in some lines at the CB, top and bottom. My wife says I should go with the black also. Thanks for your comment R.T.

They are very nice the way they are. But with the black bands (are those burn ins or laminated something or other??) and the red CB, I think the black chrome would really highlight the spalted maple.

They look nice Garry! I tend to like the black chrome or titanium with light woods.
