Slimline with Custom Antler Centerband

I am calling this the Sportsman Deluxe. I really don't know what the wood is as it was ordered as a random exotic blank. A friend gave me a very small white tail antler and I made the centerband from that.

Interesting! I'm not too sure how I feel about the material combination, but at least you get something done there! The custom centerband is a nice tough, now you need to make one from deer SKULL. That makes a MUCH nicer centerband, especially if you catch a fusion joint or two on the surface.

yeah honestly I would have liked to do wood for the top and bottom but I didn't have enough left in that blank for that

I totally understand. Last time I had THAT problrm, I split the blank for the top and bottom barrels in half and then segmented them back together to get both materials on each barrel.

B-t-B works okay.
Try using a plain white background. Focuses the eye on the pen.
Centerband = nice.
