The fit and quality of turning looks to be good. From the photo, it's hard to tell anything about the finish, if there is one. You might want to shoot it again and repost.

The speckled pattern on top is interesting; is that part of the wood? I agree with Gary, the quality of the turning looks great!

Photo is terrible, finish is great (not picked up), spot pattern on opposite each other, beautiful wood inbetween, I think it is something to do with the end grain or something?

Zebrano wood grows West Africa particularly Congo, Cameroon & Gabon. Other names are African Zebrawood,Allen Ele,Zingana,Ele,Amouk and Okwen.

Goncala Alves grows in Brazil, Paraguay & Uruguay.
Other names are Zorrowood, Zebrawood, Tigerwood, Mura, Bois de Zebre, Bossona and Urunday-para.

Zebrano has more prominant stripes than the ther choice.

Interesting about the speckles. I see more "chatter"-like marks on my pens at certain points, even though the blank is cut with the grain. I was wondering what caused that, and it's interesting that you're seeing something slightly different.
