Simplicity

A cousin gave me some wood that he had cut and saved. I made him a simple segmented comfort pen using his wood. I was not expecting much from a combination of mulberry and cross-cut locust. Thought that I would share since it surprised me in how it turned out.

That is a nice pen and I'm sure he will be thrilled to have a nice custom made pen from is own wood.
If I could suggest anything, lose the center band and use the lighter wood with some burn marks. I like how you sized up at the center but the center band stands out to much IMO.
