Hi, just a humble Streamline pen made from Afzelia Burl with chrome plated hardware, finish is Enduro (the finish is a lot better than the photo shows). Comments welcomed!
Cheers
Mark

You are right, Mark, that is a pretty humble pen, not good enough to display in your collection of your work. Since I haven't made it over for that drink of single malt yet, why don't you just mail it to me. [;)]

Hi Mark,

That is a very elegent pen. Lovely work.[8D]

Would you recommend the enduro finish? I get frustrated with the CA application on certain woods, as it can appear patchy on some. Have stopped using it completely on African Blackwood.[B)]

I second the classy vote! If I remember, that kit is the same diameter as a slim, am I correct? I also have extra problems with CA on African Blackwood, I thought i was alone.

Kenny - I would recommend Enduro but it takes a lot longer to apply than CA.
Anthony - I am practicing bowl turning on my DVR at the moment, watch this space.
TomG - kit is from here:

Here is where I buy my Enduro, there is information regarding this product also:

Thanks Again Mark,

I think I will give it a try. Do you get more consistancy of finish using enduro, and are there still problems with application on some woods, or is it a better option on most woods?

Will do some reading on the links posted, and get my hands on some to try.

Kenny, there are more positives (for me anyway) using Enduro.
1. Wooden pen feels like a wooden pen.
2. No nasty eye watering smells.
3. Consistent results everytime.
It sure is a personal thing but I prefer Enduro over CA.

Mark, Consistancy, and standard of finish are the most important factors, and I am not getting that at the moment.

The finish I see on your pens is first rate, and if you get that type of result each time, then it prvents the if's or but's that I have at the moment.

Cheers.

I did not read the other comments before I posted the one above and Classy was the first thing I thought, so I guess that the general consensus is that you have a very Classy pen here!- Chris
