:redface:Well, don't I feel like a dummy!:redface: Apparently you know my son well. He did want a pen that writes red for his teacher for a Christmas gift. I was informed that I didn't "hear correctly." He was trying to describe a pen which he has seen at Woodcraft that I believe was a teachers pen kit which writes on "both ends" with "red on on one end and and black on the other". But, after seeing the expression on my face, he did say my pen was "cool looking" .

When you described it as "simple" I just had to look. It is one worth displaying at a juried show.
