Found a pice of pine that had eyes similiar to birds eye maple. Made my own center band with Ebony sandwiching a piece of the pine. Dyed it yellow and put on a black slimline kit. Not challenging but thought the wood was different and needed something to make it pop.
Second pen is a chrome Navigator in a blue resin I got from Woodcraft. The picture makes it look like the brass tube is showing but it is the shimmer in the blank. All comments, good or bad, are welcome.
