I honestly haven't turned a BEB in 4 yrs. May have to rethink this. Beautiful blank.

I have an aversion to gold platings, but I really like both the wood and your craftsmanship!

I do as well but some if the two tone ones are nice. And they can work really well with some blanks. I think in this case it was a good choice even if I wouldn't have chosen it.
