Here is a Sierra using the new custom bushings from johnnycnc. As you can see it GREATLY increased my accuracy at the bushings. Don't know what kind of wood it is, but believe it may have been stablized. Maybe John can step in and let me know. Thanks for looking and any comments are welcomed. Maybe I'll build a photo tent soon and get some better photos of stuff.

The finish is CA. Buffed with Mcguires then a little ole TSW, buffed back out.

And yes those bushings do work nice. They also solved my problem with having to really tighten down the tailstock. Now I just snug right up to it and let the lathe do it's thing.

I bought the bushings because no matter what I did with the standard ones I was still having problems with being out of round. I am turning between center and was having to apply so much tailstock pressure using the standard bushings it was throwing everything out of wack. That is the reason I bought them. Should be about a 1 time purchase with the quality of them. That is my excuse [:D]
