I've been working with a local artist who does fantasy art to come up with some pen designs, this one is a city view at night. I appreciate any comments and critique.

Very cool. Looks like Chicago (where I grew up). Is that painted on the tube then cast in clear resin?

Is the scene painted onto a wood body, then covered with CA finish? I was thinking of doing something like this. My wife is a decorative painter.

Thanks for all the comments. I gave the artist the tubes and she painted them, then I cast them.

Very good idea!! Very original!!!

I'd be afraid of the heat of the resin affecting the paint, but it looks like it held up just fine!
