As promised here is the pen I made using the astronaut blank that was raffled off. THe hardest part was where to put the clip.

Its difficult to get an overall picture of the finished blank. It was a lot of fun to turn and I picked one of my special kits for it. Its turned to about .548 at the center and .534 at the top.

A very nice blank and one I will put in my special pens section.
I want to extend a very big thanks to Jessie Somers for creating the blank and Roy for donating it an holding the raffle.

A really cool blank and pen. Can you please explain about the special kit? Is that silver? Nice work regardless.

I echo Skippy's thoughts on you winning the blank and then encasing it in it's new space ship which I'll now call "The Apollo " . Just wonderfully done.
