Default Sierra Pen and Pencil

These are Christmas presents for my wife.

The Platinum / Black Ti is a pen. The Ti Gold / Black Ti I converted to a .05mm pencil. Thanks to Scott Hettel for his video tutorial in the library. The blanks are stabilized Purple dyed Curly Poplar and the kits are from A.S. finished with Ren Wax after buffing.
These are my 4th and 5th pens. The first 3 were slimlines. This is my first use of stabilized wood and I like it. Guess I'll have to try acrylic next.

Comments and constructive criticisms are appreciated.

That is gorgeous dyed wood. I honestly thought it was an acrylic blank until I saw what you wrote. Beautiful pens which I am sure your wife will love.

Boy - if my wife sees those I'm in deep trouble! She loves purple and I have some Curly Purpleheart in the garage!

I think he forgot to mention he has done a couple dozen pencils!!! In a seriousness, for you first few pens, they look fantastic! I thought they were acrylics too until I read the whole description. Looking forward to seeing #6 and 7.
