Gold and Black Twist Ballpoint and Dried Indian Corn Cob. Stabilized using Minwax Wood Hardner, filled voids with Med. CA, finished with 10 coats of Med. CA, wet sanded 600 thru 1200 and polished with Hut Ultra Gloss.
As always comments and or suggestions welcome.
Thanks for looking.

Nice pen, you mentioned stabilizing it with Minwax wood hardener. Exactly how did you do it? I have some corn cobs that I would like to try it with.
Thanks

I first remove kernels, cut to length, drill a 7mm hole thru the blank, soak in Minwax Hardener for 2 hours, remove and let dry overnight. Drill the blank for the kit I am going to use and glue in the tubes.
