This was totally a lesson in endurance.... it was gonna be either the pen or me!!

Wouldn't absorb the dye... so sanded it off... but it wouldn't all come off, and I was out of room to skew or sand any more... so changed colors, sanded again, added more color, sanded, CA's, sanded, more color... then had to fill the inclusions...

Fun stuff man!

Perseverance always pays off! we can't afford to let a small piece of wood win over us! Why if we did, next thing we knew we would have to fend off an attack from the bushes and trees!! Good job.:D

Nice pen Marc, I had a fight yesterday with a Desert Ironwood pen, butt hey We are Men are we not !!! We shall prevail!! We are smarter than a stick of wood!!! (most of the time) Are we not??? [:0]
