Recieved some cast shark vertebrae blanks using a gift certificate I got from R and B Crafts. It was cast in purple and gold resin but most of the color was turned away and the pictures do not show the colors well. I wonder if the vertebrae could be dyed before casting. The vertebrae is very porus and brittle, so you had to be very gentle in your turning of it. Kept stopping and soaking with thin CA glue as I turned it. Makes for a very interesting pen, but was not what I expected.
