I made this for a friend that was chased by a 5 foot lemon shark while spear fishing. Fortunately, he was the one swimming with the bag of fish so the shark wasn't too interested in me. ;)

The material is shark skin that has been dyed a burgundy color.

Very nice, like it, could you tel me what was the thickness of the tanner Shark skin please, did you cast yourself? can I see the seam on the other side please, sorry for those questions but I cast Barramudy fish skin and Sea snake skin, I'm just currious[;)]

Never had a problem yet Phil, they are already cast into pen blanks before they ship them to me. May be different if it was whole skins.[;)]

I'm not sure about that, but the seam is in the picture already. ;) It's just below the clip there. It's small enough and the color is such that it's not easy to see even when you're holding it.

Nope, but check out http://www.glimmerznmore.com/shop/ That's where I got this one. I've also turned their MoonGlo which was interesting stuff.
