Hello,

The preschool at our church that our son went to many years ago is holding a little craft show next week to raise money. I made and donated 5 pens and a pencil for the cause.

They are all made from Bethlehem Olivewood, sanded to 600 grit and finished with Doctor's Woodshop High Build Friction Polish.

The display base is made out of some scrap left over from our son's Eagle Scout project that he did for the preschool this past summer.

I wish I could be at the show to see the reaction but it is during work hours (darn that pesky job! ).

C&C welcome...

They look great! May I ask what your son's Eagle project was?

He built what they call a "Mud Pie Kitchen" where the kidletts can get dirty and 3 backpack hangers for the school's playground. I have attached a photo of the "Kitchen". Sitting on it are our son and the school's director.

Very nice set of pens - I'm sure they will be well received.
Congratulations on your son's accomplishment also. He did a great job on that Eagle project!
