There's a show I do every year that has on Friday night a "Artist Dash" dinner and cocktail party, Art patrons pay $75 per person to get in and $150 to join the dash. Artist are asked to donate a piece of art worth $150.00 or more. The donating artist are invited to the dinner and cocktails at no cost and watch as the patrons number is called then they have 60 seconds to pick out the piece of art they want. Last year they were 300 artist invited to the show and 176 donated a piece. My piece a Huanghuali Emperor last year was taken 36th. This is this years donation:

Thanks all, I really enjoy doing these type of events. You get to mingle with the people that support the arts in the community and at most of the art shows I do there is some sort of event that brings together the artist and the supporters of arts the night before the show opens. It's great PR and you'd be amazed how many of the people who attend these come by your booth and buy.

Alex, I used a 6 pen display that I had picked up on E-Bay a couple of years ago for $10 each shipped. I think Penn State has a 7 pen display for about $15.00. I took out the foam insert and cut off what was not needed, glued a black piece of material behind the two pen insert centered and then glued foam insert to the material. the photos below show the results with before I glued the material and foam down...and with black pouches instead of tan.

Beautiful set Roy. May I ask where you got the rosewood box to hold both pens. I know I have seen the fancy box that psi has but it only
has a slot for 1 pen.
