I call this style Stasis Resin until a better name surfaces. This came about from a demo Brooks803 did a while back. He was discussing the how-to on this when I first became interested in casting. This is a custom blend of purple, reverse painted black. I'm exceedingly happy how it came out, I've attempted these before without much in the way of success. I do have a couple of not-so-good blanks from a different attempt in the bin waiting for some random half-baked idea to strike. I seriously hope to be able to sell these once I get things set up right.

Thanks, everyone! I figured it was Polaris time for this one. I wanted the large tube, long blank and thick resin left after turning to capitalize on the blank's strong points.

I like this blank, and the effect of the black painted tube across the blank, yesterday I've turned an Alabaster blank which showed some black from the tube, is nice but in this case I should have painted my tubes brown for a nicer effect

I was very much on the fence about which color to reverse paint. I couldn't decide so I just went with the default.
