Service Pens

I finished these 10 Corian pens this morning...they will going to service pens. They were a lot of fun and is for such a good cause. I need to order some display tubes from PSI so I can get them in the mail. All C & C are welcome. Thanks for looking

Where do you get the blanks from?

If you go to Home Depot, you can get corian sample blocks (2" by 2" by a little over 1/4") for free ...

If you go to Lowes, you have to pay for the sample blocks, but they're cheap ... like 50 cents each?

If you know some hard surface countertop installers in your area, they may have cutoffs and scrap laying about that they would be more than happy to sell or give away... They also make for great cutting boards and potrests, for the homeowners who installed that particular style, so most of those companies go ahead and fabricate some out of the leftovers to give as extras to their customers or to sell.

Some more great comment's thanks so much. hcpens a friend gave me the Corian. Skie_M since I work at Lowe's I don't shop at that other store. Ironman123 give the Corian a try I know you'll love it.

Corian is a great product to learn how to turn and finish synthetics. It turns relatively easy and finishes great.
