Stone me, I haven't been on here in ages! Must be 3 or 4 years since I made a pen!
My eldest son is off to Nepal at the end of the year to get to Everest base camp. I've made a bunch of pens to raffle. Hope you like 'em!

Must have made about 12 pens this week.

We have my son's design of inlaid 4-wood spiral, my FAVOURITE tulipwood (smells lovely on the turn), a beech wood slimline, and another one of my handmade "chunk" polyesters.

Will be raffling at our 12-hour karatethon. Feel free to enter the raffle or sponsor us!! https://www.facebook.com/GetMatthieu2Nepal2018/

Excellent! You have not lost your touch!

Knowing that I had quite a few to make, I put a deal less effort into it than previously. Quicker deeper cuts, more sanding, less polishing, friction finish, no varnish...

Conclusion? I think I was putting far too much effort in previously. These are no worse than some that I spent hours on.
