I haven't posted in awhile, so here are three pens I have done. Photos are not the greatest, still working on that artform!

Fisrt pen is a Dymondwood blank cut in half and then reglued. I segmented that with some oak I had around the shop. It is on a gold Cigar.


second pen is some walnut that I drilled and placed round dowels just off-center. This was an experiment on seeing what could happen with different thicknesses of the pen creating different looks with the dowels.

Third pen is some amboyna burl that I cut a larger curve into the blank and then proceeded to glue up some colored veneer I had bought awhile back. I use two pcs of green veneer on a green slimline (colors are not real great.

What a great bunch of pens! I have to admit, though, I like the dowel segmenting best. Looks like fun.
