I have tried several different times to get a segmented pen to stay together. I finally got this one to stay together. I counted 47 slices including the one on the top which makes a total of 188 pieces(I think). It is Spanish Cedar, Iroko, Maple and Pine for those who wonder. Thanks for looking and as always comments and critiques are welcome.

beautiful! simply stunning, I really like how the size of the pieces vary a little from one level to the other, and how they spiral down but not exact like stairsteps, very eye catching!

I used tite bond for initial glue up of my 4 pieces and for gluing all of the slices back together. I used medium CA to glue the cap in.

Thanks for all of the comments, it makes me think maybe I should try and do another one.

Very Nice!! I really like the the cap end piece. Are you using thick super glue?
