Segmented Zebrawood

After my last adventure with segmenting I thought I would go with one wood, so I opted for Zebrawood.
It was a real pain to turn but I think it turned out okay.



Here's a better view of the lower barrel.



The finish is 10 coats of medium CA.

That's cool,I can appreciate the patience it takes to keep cutting and gluing
that many times on such a small pallet I don't think that I could have kept track of the next cut and where it goes, You get my vote!!!

About how much time from layout to finished pen blanks is involved in that? I am sure it is a bunch.

Thanks for the compliments.
Ray, it takes around an hour or so to build a blank.
Here are a few pictures to show I how to do it.
Sand a bevel on a piece a couple of inches long.

Glue on a piece with CA glue

Remove waste

Disk sand and attach next piece.

Remove waste again.

Keep rotating the blank and adding pieces until you have enough for your blank.
