It is Tambootie with Birdseye Maple and aluminum inlays. I like the way the chrome hardware pulls out the aluminum. Feel free to comment.

Very nice Brian:

Clean, neat, precise... I like the timber combination. I like these two together. Some may favor more figure. But I actually have been playing around with more common maple and walnuts.

Great effort!

Looks Fantastic, the thin section of Aluminium is just right to seperate the joins.

Very nice.

I just did one of those, different colors, but similar segmenting.

One thing I noticed after pressing that pen together is that it takes a little lining up the clicker end with the tip so the flats are aligned at the same places. I figured it out after it was too late.

Nice work and nice job keeping the aluminum from discoloring the light wood during sanding.
