I worked out a trade with a nice person on another forum for a box of "Egyptian Walking Onion Sets". Her favorite color is colbolt blue and likes wood as well so I came up with this combo of homebrew and tulip wood, aluminium and veneer on a chrome European

She was thrilled with her new pen and my onins are growing nicely.

Very, very nice looking. I think, however, the center band on that particular pen takes away from the beauty of it.

Striking that Cobolt blue blank, and is that a black, aluminum, black edge between the acrylic and the wood?

Thanks folks..I glue the segments with thick ca from wooden wonders. I use a piece of wooden outside corner trim lined with wax paper to press the segments and keep them aligned.
