Segmented Slim line. A practice run for my next one.

Many firsts in this pen.

First slim line I've done.
First segmented blank I've made
First time using micro mesh.
First time making my own bushings.

What woods were used? Good question.. It all came from the big box of mystery wood my fathers neighbor gave me when they were packing up the shop to move cross country.

Next one in line is a Slim line teachers pen.. All 3 blanks will be segmented.
this was a trial run for that.

Walnut,oak,spalted maple maybe.Good color contrast.

Nice pen. The bottom half looks like Sycamore because of the grain pattern.
