Cocobolo on the barrel, Cocobolo and Olivewood for the cap. I was looking for something a little different.
Tung Oil finish, on a chrome Baron kit.

The rope work looks great. Not sure I like the combination of rope and the segmenting.
Now, if you could continue the rope design into the segmenting, then you would have a winner!!

Very nice job!! I agree with John that the rope design being carried into the segmented portion would make the pen stand out more. Nevertheless..great pen. Doc

That thought crossed my mind, but the middle section was already milled. I may try one in the near future with the segmented parts all milled. I'm sure if its glued together well, it will all hold together good.
