Segmented purpleheart, aluminum, redheart Sierra

I read an article in Woodturning Design about segmented pens using metal and had to try it out.

I wish the aluminum was a bit more shiny but overall I'm pleased with the outcome. I used a Ci2 mini easy rougher to turn down the blank which worked quite well with the combination of wood and metal.
