Segmented? Plyed? What would you call it?

Here are a couple I have been playing with for a while. They are dyed strips of wood glued together in different patterns. Both are Black TI, Postable Jr. Gents with a CA finish.

Segmenting as it appears you are slicing dymond wood or spectraply and putting it together. They are nice regardless.

I'd call the first one Brickwork, 'cause that's kinda what it looks like.
I'd stay away from Woven Wood 'cause Eagle used that and there is a distinct difference in the look.
The second looks like wafers and candy stripes.
