Mother Nature did the segmenting, I did the coloring! This is spalted hackberry cross cut that I double dyed and stabilized with plexi-acetone with Transtint dye mixed in. The patterns you see are 100% natural and were not altered in any way be me! I dyed by soaking in one color of plexi-tone and letting it dry, then soaking in another. The finish is CA of course. Thanks for looking!

BTW, these are all the same pen, just different views.

Another masterpiece, Curtis. You are always raising the bar for great lookiing pens. Great job. You wouldn't happen to have before pics of the blank. It perks my curiosity to see what the wood looked like before you stableized it.
