I made this one with padouk set in a cherrywood blank (at least I think thats what kind of blank it was). Used my bandsaw for the slots, miter set a 30, glued in with Titebond, drilled on the lathe, finished with CA.

It's getting easier, I'm on a roll. My latest two. The sierra is white oak with padouk inserts, the comfort pen is brazilian cherry with white oak and padouk inserts.

I unlaced this one, loops just bump each other. Walnut with inserts of purpleheart, padouk, red oak and yellow poplar.
