Here is a pen I created using an 11mm button I purchased off Ebay.

The pen is a Triton Rollerball using Jr. Gent tubes. The blank is called "Arizona" from KnB Pen Blanks.

The pine wood is from a building in Holbrook, AZ that once set on the original Route 66.

Smooth idea. I am taking my father in law to Arizona in May. He is an old car nut, I think I am gonna steal your idea and surprise him with one of these for the trip.

OK, here is a stretch. I just found the address of Martin Milner. Tomorrow, I am going to turn another pine blank and send it off to him to see if he will sign it.

My questions are: should I coat it with one thin coat of this CA or keep the wood virgin. Second, what type of pen should I send with it so I can cover the blank with CA when if he returns is signed. Of course in a postage paid package.

Now only the older guys will remember Martin Milner and his relationship with Route 66.
