Second Chance for an ugly Pen

This was my entry in the ugly pen contest for the Bash it was voted 2nd place in the NORMAL Pen category. It was my first and only Plexiglas finish.
I thought it deserved a second chance so I took it apart and refinished it with a CA/BLO finish It has been sanded to 1500 then plastic polished.
Any comments welcome, and thanks for looking. :biggrin:

Actually with the snake beside it puts me in a mind of those shows where they show snakebite victims with there skin rotting off! But the fit and finish is great.
