Seashells?

I really love these blanks. They make the pen look fauceted. But it is actually round.

The reason for that "optical illusion" James, is that the paua shell IS strips. Then, when cast, of course the pen is round and comfortable to hold. Casting without bubbles is tricky. But, when it works, it sure makes a pretty pen!!!

Like using John's feathers---I don't have to be much of a penturner, I just find really neat blanks!!!!!!!!!!!
