this is the one i worked on all week. i know that this is not perfect but it's an art in progress. my next i hope to do a lighthouse.
there are 3 shots here, i wanted to show all the angles. the tree is rapped around the pen. please let me know what you think.

I like it. That type of artwork makes an interesting look on that pen. Do you plan to draw the pen as a lighthouse or put a lighthose with landscape on the pen?

I think it is great that you are branching out like this. I have wanted to try scrimshaw, but have not have the nerve as yet. Great work! BTW, are locksmithing tools helpful for scrimshaw? [8D]

thanks you guys, i'm blushing........i turned the axis antler for the weeks project. you'll all be the first to see it.
