Sci-fi Sierra: H.P Lovecraft's Cthulu

Greetings! I am very proud to show pictures of my most recently painted pen, a personal design I did for my brother as a birthday gift. We're big fantasy/sci-fi nerds and one of his favorites is H.P Lovecraft's Cthulu. I don't expect many to be able to relate or identify the specific creature, but perhaps you can appreciate my efforts to create something truly unique for him. These are my most favorite subjects to draw and paint. The pen itself was made by Marla Mills i.e Crickett. We've worked together on a many a project and as always I'm impressed with her fabulous workmanship.

Stay tuned, going to be doing some more sci-fi fantasy, Dr.Who type themes and a line of exotic birds and animals! I only wish I could be able to see and photograph each pen as it was completed, I do feel each piece is a part of myself that I give to others.

Nice work. Is the painting done onto the tube or onto something and then wrapped around it?

It's done right onto the tube, which makes "wrapping" the painting or image I'm doing very tedious and difficult, haha!
