School Colors

These are the first two of a series I am doing of school colors. I started off with my two schools....Tennesee and Georgia Tech. Pens are Jr Gent I's. Let me know what you think. The caps not matching is a new thing for me and kind of feels weird, but I think I like it.

I really like the second pen. How did you get the bubbly black like that? Really good looking effect.

They both look fantastic, but I have to be honest, I really love the first one. I'm trying to do some color matching and design right now for my school, the University of Montana, but finding a decent maroon colored blank is becoming a daunting task. Thanks to your examples here, I now have an idea on how I can do the pen, with a couple of minor changes, such as doing a couple of small silver segments in the elusive maroon colored end of the pen.
