This was my first Sceptre pen kit and dyed blank. The blank was a Turquoise Box Elder from PSI. Sorry for the poor photos... My digital "point and shoot" isn't the best for close ups.

Very nice! Do you have a macro setting? Sometimes that helps with up close photos. Looks like a flower I think on the dial.

I am assuming your shop is in a grainery? That is so cool if it is.

Yes my shop is a 200yr old grainery on my parents property... Couldn't get them to come off of the older barn so I settled for the 18x18 building. She needs work and some love but will truly be a one of a kind woodshop. I'm working on it tomorrow (insulation and felt paper) so I'll take pics if your interested.

Sounds like a very inspirational setting to be working and creating in, Imagine if it could tell you the changes it's seen

By the way Nice pen, from what I can tell, I do like the coloring of the Box Elder.

I actually am in the process of insulating/sheetrocking it. I have a couple pics that give you an idea of the building. I'll post them in the shop pictures thread.
