OK I haven't posted much lately but I also hadn't done much that I felt was interesting. I have been working on some scallops again and trying to get the 45 degree angles to meet up nicely. NOT EASY. Here are some of my attempts.

The white is definitely the hardest and of course I showed you the best shots.

I appreciate the complexity to get everything to line up! Better you than I :biggrin:.

That being said, the pens are still mighty nice!

Simply from a personal preference, I like the white/black bands better than the white.

You're Nearly There Mike, and a darn sight closer than most of us.
You sure pick a difficult set of colours, they standout like a Traffic Stop light on a rainy night.
Of the combinations, I prefer the Black, with White.
BTW they are spectacular pieces of Timber you are using.
Excellent Fit and Finish, once the Apex is mastered, they will be Fantastic.
They will suit and look Beautiful on an Art Deco Pen.
