Hello
It's been a while since I've done a segmented blank so I thought I give it a try. I used a Paduck blank and some maple veneer (I think), that Jim Burr sent me. I cut the blank at 30 deg. to and bottom the glued the veneer in place with CA glue. I then cut the blank at 90 deg. at each end of the veneer and glued another piece of veneer at those cuts. The Finish is WTF. I'm fairly happy on how it came out ( it did not show all that well in the pictures and I think my camera is acting up a little so the shots as a bit fuzzy. The Kit came from Woodcraft. As always any and all comments are welcome

Very nice! I segmented a blank for the first time yesterday at our Central Texas meeting hosted by Rick! Hopefully I'll get it turned soon!

Dan; It is amazing how you can take the lowly Slim Line and turn it from a pumpkin to a carrage. Very nice craftsmanship!! Jim S

Great job! I have worked with segmenting nearly all my pens - including acrylics and deer antler, and my customers love it. Adds a very unique flare and is a lot of fun creating! Keep it up!:)
