Same blank, different paint jobs

I used the same blank on both pens.
The Gold Vail blanks were painted white and the El Grande blanks were painted black.

You definitely entered the right one in competition. Amazing what a difference the inner color makes. I like how the white made the colors pop.

The white sure did make a big difference. Since I had posted the El Grande prior to the contest I decided to use the same blank on something different.

I'll have to try this blank with a grey paint job and see where that ends up.

Just a bit of other info. There is a significant difference in material thickness in those kits. El Grandes have VERY little material left once complete,which makes the difference even greater. It would be interesting to see the El Grande painted white, as I would bet you would not have the same vibrance that the vail has... nOT saying that the difference is skewed, just more dramatic due to kit differences...
