Salmon Gum Jr Majestic

This is a Junior Majestic from GPW dressed in Salmon Gum sanded to 600, EEE and Shellawax. I was looking once again for a more timber and less gloss finish. The pen actually shows a bit more gloss than the pic, but it's still more of the satin finish I was looking for. All comments welcome.

Very good job on both turning and finish. I tried to acheive the high gloss ca finish when I first started turning pens. I developed a nasty reaction to ca so had to find alternative finishes. Since then I've come to like the more "natural" finishes. Brings the character of the wood out without the plastic look. IMHO
