Have made a few like this with black bakelite but I found a few rods of black Ebonite and made this today, ebonite doesn't shine as well as bakelite but don't have to worry about cracking. All fill is crushed turquoise. As always all comments welcome.....you too Skippy:biggrin:

Wow, this is very nice looking Roy. I love the turquoise with that one! Never thought about doing any of them in Ebonite - very creative.

I think this is one of your nicest gator pens yet Roy. I like the less shine and more earthly warmth of this pen. Great Job!

Roy, I was looking for a piece of tire tread around a pen, something real ugly. What a pleasant surprise when your beautiful pen came up on screen. Great job on a beautiful pen.
