Yes it does remind me of those Beautiful High End British Car Dash's.
Though most of them were Book End Matched, Close Birds Eye Maple Veneer, with a High Gloss Lacquer Finish.
Beautiful, till the Sun got to them.
I love the use of the black Corian with the Eucalyptus Burl.
