Rosewood Burl from Nolan

A while back, actually quite a while, Nolan posted some Rosewood Burl for sale and had some with heartwood and sapwood running lengthwise. My eyes bugged out.[:0] I got some of it from him and this is probably the best of the bunch and there weren't any dogs. This is a full size Statesman fountain pen and it's big but you really see a lot of this gorgeous wood. The finish is 7-8 coats of Unaxol. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Yup----that's a great pen. I have also fallen of the wagon and now buy wood from Nolan---heck I don't even go the the woodalcoholics meetings anymore. But I am on Nolans waiting list for special order woods.
