This is a cigar with some rosewood burl that I got from Chitswood. This is some of the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life! Can you see the spooky face in the upper barrel?
Good, bad, or otherwise, let me know what you think. Thanks for looking, Tim

Tim,

That's stunning. You did a great job on that cigar -- it looks perfect.
Great wood too. I've been happy with everything I've gotten from Darick.

Now i know what the pen I plan to make will look like. I got some of that rosewood burl, too. I want a really quality one that'll match my wedding ring (Thanks, Bruce Boone!!!) and I was considering a cigar. You did a fabulous job on my prototype!! :p :p :p :p

Thanks for the nice comments, to tell the truth, I was kinda nervous turning this pen because this is the first burl of this caliber that I have ever turned. I was afraid I would mess it up. Tim

Thanks again for the comments. I have to report that the pen now has a new owner. Did my first craft show of the year today and this was one of the first pens to go. Kinda bittersweet! Sorry, gotta go, got to get in touch with Darrick. Tim
