This was my first aero pen. I guess it is a version of the sierra, but seemed of a better quality to me. I don't remember what I paid for the kit. It used a drill bit I never used before so it must be different size than the sierra. I used Johnny's TBC bushings on it. They really do make all the difference I think.

the wood was an old piece of cherry burl that I thought was very pretty and I segmented in three pieces of paduka (or whatever it is) sandwiched between layers of green and blue pool cue veneer. I really like that stuff. It helps set off the segments nicely I think.

It's finished with 15 coats of thin CA/BLO, then polished with novus 2.

Peter the Aero is actually the real Elegant Beauty, the top mounted Transmission on these can't come apart like they can on a sierra, These are one of my favorite kit's, Lau Lau Woods has them in some beautiful plating's, I like the rose though which is one that Aaron doesn't have, Yous is gorgeous, nice segmenting, it matches the plating beautifully.
